10th Harold Rosen Lecture by John Richmond
The Harold Rosen lectures are given in memory of the influential educator and teacher whose work on English teaching remains an important force in the shaping of theory and practice in this field.
This free lecture, a collaboration between DARE, LATE and UCL IOE Press and part of the Harold Rosen Lecture series, will be given by John Richmond, editor of the newly published collection of Harold Rosen’s writings: Harold Rosen: Writings on life, language and learning, 1958–2008. Harold’s son, Michael Rosen, will introduce the lecture, which promises to be an inspiring tribute to this towering figure and leader of thought in the world of English teaching.
The book, containing over 50 pieces of Rosen’s writings, is published by UCL IOE Press, and can be purchased at a reduced price of £20 (normal price £24.99) at the event. Enjoy drinks afterwards in the Cruciform Cafe. To reserve places please contact Sally Sigmund at UCL IOE Press before Friday 10 March 2017: [email protected] Tel: +44 (0)20 799 5565
