UKLA Special Interest Group Symposium 2016
Tap & Read: Literacy development through e-books and apps
UKLA is delighted to announce the inaugural Symposium for the UKLA Special Interest Group: Children’s digital books and literacy apps
Children’s e-reading and literacy apps challenge traditional definitions of book, literature and literacy and influence the ways in which children create and read texts. The aim of this symposium is to bring together researchers, teachers, associations for the promotion of reading and literacy, and producers (publishers, artists, developers) to discuss digital books and apps, children’s engagement with these new forms of texts and the impact on their literacy development.
Last chance to book! Bookings close next week.
