Centre for the Study of New Literacies Annual Conference

Conference: New Methods for New Literacies

This event took place Friday 8th to Saturday 9th July 2011

The Centre for the Study of New Literacies, based in the School of Education in the University of Sheffield is a multidisciplinary research centre with a focus on literacy in everyday life, online and off line literacies, digital literacy practices, and literacy and popular culture. The focus of the annual conference is on research methodologies that can help us make sense of new literacies. We would like to invite papers on the themes of, for example, visual methodologies, participatory methodologies, multimodal analysis, narrative and ecological approaches to new literacies. We are interested in papers from established and new researchers in the field. We invite potential presenters to send us an abstract of not more than 250 words to [email protected] by the end of April 2011
