  One of the English Association’s major contributions to the centenary of the First World War will be an international conference at Oxford, open to everyone with an interest in the poetry and poets of the Great War. The conference programme is designed for academic, specialist, and general interest delegates. The Patron is Professor Jon Stallworthy, the greatest living authority on Wilfred Owen.  Himself a Poet, biographer and critic, he is the editor of The Oxford Book of War Poetry.  The programme includes chaired discussions, 19 panel sessions and over 60 speakers, with keynotes from Edna Longley and Jay Winter.   Sessions include:
