Worcester Children’s Storytelling Festival: The thinking behind the event An event for teachers

A discussion panel of the contributors to the event will present some of the theorizing and thinking behind the Storytelling Festival and how it has evolved. This year will see: a children’s theatre production; storytelling sessions on the University campus and in the Worcester City Library; and more.

The panel will be - Professor Jean Webb - Director of the International Research Centre for Children’s Literature, Literacy and Creativity and an internationally known academic who writes about Children’s Literature.

David Broster -  In addition to teaching Drama and Film and heading up the area, David is also director of Magic Attic Theatre, which he established in 2004 with the aim of producing new work for the annual Children’s Storytelling Festival here at Worcester and making contributions to the Research Centre for Children’s Literature, Literacy and Creativity.
