Exploring practical ways of developing teachers’ and students' explicit grammatical knowledge.
This event took place 9:29am - 3:59pm Monday January 26th, 2015
The teaching of grammar has an increasing high profile. This conference will explore practical ways of developing teachers’ and students' explicit grammatical knowledge. The programme will include keynotes from Debra Myhill (University of Exeter) and children’s author Bali Rai. Participants can also choose from a selection of workshops to develop ideas for teaching in and outside the classroom, led by inspirational practitioners such as David Reedy (UKLA), Steve Davy (The Wroxham School, Potters Bar), education consultant Brigid de Rivaz, as well as outstanding classroom teachers. Every participant will receive a copy of the book Teaching Grammar Effectively by David Reedy and Eve Bearne.
