UKLA 51st International Conference

The landscape for literacy teaching continues to change. These changes are driven by the technology available to us to communicate and to make meaning but also by educational policy being applied in the United Kingdom and internationally. This conference will be an opportunity for literacy practitioners and academics to discuss a literacy for the 21st Century and how to respond to the opportunities and challenges that face teachers and children.

Speakers to include Dr Henry Giroux, Professor Kathy Hall, Dr Steven Layne and authors Kevin Brooks and Jeanne Willis.

Plus a huge selection of workshops, research reports, presentations and symposia, UKLA Awards, Norfolk Children’s Book Centre and UKLA bookshops, plus a drinks reception and tour at the historic Wollaton Hall! Book Now
