The SIG aims to offer a vibrant and active forum for exchange and collaboration for all those interested in multilingualism and literacy development, including teachers, researchers, authors, illustrators, translators, and related charities/community groups. Through a series of events and ongoing collaborations among the membership and with core partner organisations, we seek to influence both policy and practice linked to the experiences of multilingual learners.

The ‘Literacy and Multilingualism’ SIG is convened by Sabine Little, Lecturer in Languages Education at the University of Sheffield, and a trained teacher. To join, for further information, or to propose a collaboration or event, please contact s.little@sheffield.ac.uk.
