UKLA are thrilled to announce the beginning of a new termly event for teachers: ‘Book Blethers’. Organised by our wonderful Regional Reps, these events will take place over Zoom and be a space for book-based discussions around a wide range of themes. The events will be informal, and are open to all teachers, whether you have lots to say or simply want to join in and listen. The Blethers will be a fantastic opportunity to pick up book recommendations for your classroom, as well as connecting with teachers from all over. Each Blether is free to attend, but will require a ticket which will be available to claim on Eventbrite each time.

The first Blether will take place on Thursday, October 17th and centres around the theme ‘Diverse Classrooms’. Any kind of book recommendation is welcome, from poetry to information, but none are required! Come along and discover new ways to enrich literacy teaching in your classroom.
