Each tutor can lead a group shadowing one of the three award categories: 3-6, 7-11 and 12-16+. All students taking part are eligible to vote, and the winning authors of the student votes are honoured at the prestigious UKLA Book Awards Ceremony, part of the UKLA International Conference. Participating HE tutors and students are invited to this ceremony.

Tutors from the following universities have already registered to take part:

In an exciting new development, student shadowing is now sponsored by the NUT. This sponsorship enables us to offer up to 6 student conference places for the 2016 UKLA International Conference in Bristol.

We invite participating tutors to select up to two students who have made outstanding contributions to student shadowing and write brief statements in support of their nominees. These nominations will be judged by a UKLA panel and the winning students will be invited to the UKLA International Conference at guests of UKLA. Submissions invited from 2 May 2016, closing date 1 June.
