UKLA response to DfE’s consultation about Phonics test for 6 year olds in England published.
UKLA today has published its response to the Department for Education’s consultation concerning the proposed Year 1 Phonics Screening Check. David Reedy, President of UKLA, said ‘ It is essential that as many people as possible make their views known about this flawed and dangerous test. We are making UKLA’s detailed response public so that it can be used by anybody who is planning to complete the consultation form.’ The consultation period closes on February 14th 2011.
