Winners of the Brenda Eastwood Award for Inclusion and Diversity 2019
The joint winners are:

Dr Sabine Little, Lecturer in Education studies (Language Education) and Senior Fellow Higher Education Academy, The University of Sheffield, England

In its second year, the panel announces the first joint winners of the prestigious award and the first commendation for a lifetime’s work in research for inclusion and diversity.
The Brenda Eastwood Award continues to attract high quality nominations of educators, practitioners, librarians, consultants and researchers actively involved in inclusion and diversity.
The panel would like to say thank you to the nominators: Joy Court and Prue Goodwin for nominating Farrah Serroukh and Becky Parr for nominating Dr Sabine Little.
Their work in enriching the lives of children and adults who work with them reflect inclusion and diversity in the world of literacy, multilingualism and multiculturalism. Their roles also impact their respective learning communities.
The panel announces its first certificate for certificate commending a lifetime’s work in inclusion and diversity.
