The United Kingdom Literacy Association (UKLA) is a small educational charity which was founded almost 60 years ago in 1963 as the United Kingdom Reading Association. Information about the history and current activities of the UKLA can be found on our website.

JOB DESCRIPTION, EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

The United Kingdom Literacy Association (UKLA) Communications Support Co-ordinator is one of three members of the Office team. The Communications Support Co-ordinator takes the lead on website and social media communications and supports the work of UKLA through ensuring that communications are professional, prompt and effective.

Under the supervision of the UKLA Office Manager, the UKLA Communications Support Co-ordinator will liaise with the event organisers and UKLA trustees on relevant tasks.
