Due to COVID restrictions, the UKLA team is working from home. This is a challenging time for us all, so your patience is very much appreciated.

Imogen Maund – South

  • Regional Rep

My name is Imogen and I have been teaching in KS2 in primary schools in Bucks and Oxfordshire since 2012. I am currently taking a year out of the classroom to do my MA in Education at Oxford Brookes and am particularly excited to be studying a Reading for Pleasure module!

I am really passionate about reading for pleasure and representation of diversity within books. I am also a strong believer in how stories and texts can model and embed values teaching and write a blog about this, which you can find through my Twitter account.

I am delighted to be joining UKLA as one of the Regional Reps for the South as I think the work UKLA does is invaluable for the promotion and development of reading and writing for all children, and I am looking forward to playing my part in the organisation.
