Simon Pollard – South West

I am an Executive Head Teacher at Cornwall Education Learning Trust. In my spare time I am director of St Austell Festival of Children’s Literature.

Reading and writing play an essential role in social mobility and being a member of the UIKLA helps keep me up to date on the latest research. It also helps to connect me with like mnded people so we can work together to share knowledge and understanding.

The conferences are great for this but there is also a great online community. Being from the far South West can make you feel isolated so it would be great to get some events happening here.
