UKLA is a member of FELA (The Federation of European Literacy Association), formerly The International Development in Europe Committee (IDEC) which merged with FELA in January 2018. 

FELA members’ organisations support best practice in literacy teaching, learning and research. Their biennial conference facilitates this cross-fertilisation of ideas. The General Assembly annual meetings, attended by a representative of each member organisation, are usually tied to a local organisation’s conference. 

This website will post upcoming opportunities for you to engage across the European stage as and when they arise. This might be through attending a conference, contributing to a webinar or applying for funding.
