Ideas in Practice booklets provide clear, workable guidance in aspects of language and literacy teaching and learning and in professional/curriculum development. With a brief background section about the principles of each topic, the booklets contain formats and examples of how these can be carried out in the classroom or Local Authority. The A4 format allows for illustrations and photocopiable formats. Booklets in this series are approximately 20,000 words/equivalent in illustrative material.
We publish Ideas in Print books regularly. The most recent titles are Digital Literacies in Education edited by Clare Dowdall and Cathy Burnett and Talk for Teaching and Learning by David Reedy and Eve Bearne
