Digital Literacies in Education SIG

The UKLA Digital Literacies in Education Special Interest Group (SIG) launched at the UKLA international conference in Bristol, 2016 and ran until summer 2019. Building on the previous Digital Literacies SIG (2003-2006), this new SIG brought together practitioners, researchers, consultants and others who were interested in sharing experiences from research and practice in relation to digital literacies. It led to the creation of a Digital Literacies in Education Task Group which is producing new resources to support and inspire the integration of digital literacies within the broader literacy curriculum.

The Digital Literacies in Education Special Interest Group was co-convened by Cathy Burnett and Clare Dowdall.
