Any school or teacher in the UK can Shadow the judging process for the unique UKLA Book Awards. These are the only national awards judged by teachers. Shadowing will start when the shortlists are announced in March. You can rest assured that each category shortlist will comprise of tried and tested, outstanding books, because they have been chosen by fellow teachers. 

But this is your opportunity to have your say! Read and use the books with your students, join in the Shadower’s discussion groups and vote on your winner. The Shadower’s Choice Awards are also presented at the ceremony at the UKLA International Conference in Glasgow on July 3rd.
