Student discussion groups- shadowing longlists UKLA book Awards 2024
HE tutor members are invited to lead student teacher discussion groups shadowing books from the UKLA Book Awards LONGLISTS in the Autumn and Spring terms.
Each tutor can lead a group shadowing 5/6 books from any of the four award categories: 3-6+, 7-10+, 11-14+ or Information Books 3-14+.
Tutors are asked to borrow copies of their longlisted books from their local library, buy from their local independent bookshop or order packs at generous discount from our sponsors Love Reading https://ukla.org/awards/buying-books-with-love-reading/
All tutors and students taking part are eligible to vote March 13th, 2024.The link will be sent to all registered tutors nearer the time. The winning authors, illustrators & translators of this vote are honoured at the prestigious UKLA Book Awards Ceremony – part of the UKLA International Conference. Participating tutors and students are invited to this ceremony, in 2024 at the University of Sussex on July5th, 2024.
